We ended up telling some other stories from the point of view of characters who developed out of the stories of Éowyn and Faramir’s children, and the Haradric empire.

  • The Emperor is Dead

    FA 36. Emperor Artabanus is dead, and the Emperor Beyazit has come to the throne. The timing is rather convenient.

  • Tarie and Nisroch

    When a strange Haradric trader turns up at The Sword and Goblet, Tarie ensures he gets somewhere to stay and a bite to eat. And then he keeps turning up, with new items to trade: strange coffee beans, silk and spices … as well as gifts for Tarie.

  • Thorongil alone

    Thorongil, fourth son of a country squire—who’s stuck with an annoying name which makes everyone laugh at him—finds himself interrogating captured Haradrim during the war.

  • Denethor

    Denethor, a commercial barrister, catches the eye of a Lady.

    Later, Denethor’s colleagues inform him that his brother is being most improper. If only Thorongil had been employed by the Ministry of Justice…

    O, and don’t tell Lúthien about the snacks!

  • Eadgyth and Duinion

    Eadgyth daughter of Edric wonders why arrogant Lord Duinion from Gondor’s Embassy to Rohan behaves so boastfully when she’s around. She’s not impressed. Not at all. And, please, can her co-workers stop encouraging Duinion for their own entertainment?

  • Thor's Mama

    Mama wasn’t well treated by her brother Beleg during the Siege of Minas Tirith. But! As Mama outlines in her letters to Beleg, it is ALL FINE NOW. In fact, it all turned out QUITE WELL, because LOOK at what’s happened now to her youngest chicken!
